HIGHLIGHTS
The conference gathered over 600 attendees, which included key stakeholders in public and private sector as well as young entrepreneurs and students. The theme of the 2019 conference was "The Rise of Africa's entrepreneur heroes" and it set the stage for the ABH's vision and work across the continent over the next ten years. Importantly, it also provided a forum for discussions on the state of entrepreneurship in Africa.

The presentations by young entrepreneurs highlighted the potential and passion of Africa's young entrepreneurs and showcased innovative models that young African entrepreneurs are using to address challenging development issue.
Overall, the 2019 ABH conference provided insights into both the potential of Africa's entrepreneurs, the challenges they face, and the actions that are required to further propel them.
