The ABH Programme is a programme which we started in 2019 and focuses on empowering, supporting and inspiring a new generation of African entrepreneurs across all sectors, with a focus on small businesses and grassroots communities, who are building a more sustainable and inclusive economy for the future. The ABH Programme consists of the ABH Prize Competition, the ABH Show, the ABH Community Platform and such other initiatives that we may develop from time to time. ABH is the controller and responsible for your personal data.

Your privacy is important to us and we have taken steps to ensure that we do not collect more information from you than is necessary for us to provide you with our Services and to protect your account.
When you create an account on our Site, submit an application to participate in or, participate as a judge in any part of the ABH Programme, request marketing information to be sent to you or otherwise contact us, you may be required to provide us with certain information including but not limited to:

The ABH Programme and in particular the ABH Prize Competition is open to applicants of all ages. Minors (those under the age of 18, unless the age of consent is lower according to where you are located) should only provide Personal Data with parental or guardian consent. If you are a minor, you cannot submit an application without parental or guardian consent. If a minor has provided us with Personal Data, the parent or guardian should contact firstname.lastname@example.org if they have any concerns or to ask us to remove the information.

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your Personal Data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your Personal Data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your Personal Data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
