The Africa’s Business Heroes Competition
  • ANPI organizes the “Africa’s Business Heroes” (ABH) prize competition, which aims to identify, support and inspire the next generation of African entrepreneurs who are making a difference in their local communities, working to solve the most pressing problems, and building a more sustainable and inclusive economy for the future.
  • Every year, ten finalists will be selected to compete in the ABH finale pitch competition that will be broadcast online and across the continent. The finalists will compete for a share of US $1.5 million in grant money.
Business Management Training
  • ANPI works with its anchor partners to provide a range of tools and learning resources such as Webinars, Investor Pitch Prep, mentorship and more to both our finalists and the broader ecosystem of African SMEs.
  • We provide ANPI Top 10 finalists with access to the Alibaba eFounders fellowship training where there have the opportunity to do a deep dive on the digital economy, meet Alibaba executives and witness China’s digital transformation first-hand.
THE AFRICA’s BUSINESS HEROES SHOW
An educational and inspiring TV series that documents the journeys of the entrepreneurs, their pitch competition and features insights and advice from our renowned panel of judges. The show is distributed across Africa via major television networks.
THE SUMMIT
The culminating event of the Africa's Business Heroes competition that brings featuring a conference, workshops, masterclasses and the grand finale. The summit provides an opportunity to bring together key stakeholders in the entrepreneurship ecosystem to explore the state of entrepreneurship in Africa, network and develop new insights and skills to support their work within the ecosystem.
