Ayman Bazaraa’s relentless commitment to addressing joblessness among graduates whose skills don’t align with the rapidly evolving tech job market has given birth to Sprints, an Egypt-based pioneering e-learning and training company. With its guaranteed hiring programs and interest-free, delayed payment plans linked to employment, Sprints offers an innovative, affordable solution to the ever-widening tech talent gap.
Registered students are provided individually customized training modules based on skills assessments conducted by the company to prepare them for well-paid jobs in the tech industry. Sprints goes a step further by actively connecting this emerging talent with reputable tech companies, facilitating meaningful career opportunities.
A graduate of the University of Cairo with a B.Sc. in Engineering: Electronics and Communication and an alumnus of INSEAD’s Leadership, Finance, and Management program, Ayman has a history of entrepreneurial excellence. He previously co-founded Avelabs, a software provider for autonomous, electric, and connected vehicles, and MicroDoers, which provides augmented reality solutions to clients across Asia, Europe, and the U.S.
His research found that Egyptian graduates with tech qualifications often don’t meet company requirements because most AI jobs are automated, so they settle for low-paying jobs or can’t find any and remain unemployed. This ignited Ayman’s ambitious mission “to train 100 million young people in tech and get them good jobs.” In its first four years, 20,000 students have graduated from Sprint programs and the ed-tech company has delivered skills programs in the 13 most-in-demand tech-related fields.
With Sprints ready to launch in new markets and raise capital, Ayman is gearing up for expansion in other African countries, with plans to kickstart this strategy in Nigeria.
