2023 was ABH’s 5th anniversary. A mid-way mark in our prize competition program. On the 24th and 25th of November 2023, we celebrated this milestone with the most diverse entrepreneurial community on the continent in Kigali, Rwanda.

Over the 2-day event, more than 2500 people from more than 47 countries gathered at the Kigali Convention Center. During the event, more than 50 speakers from across the continent took to the stage. The diverse group of speakers included entrepreneurs, investors, business leaders, influencers, and ecosystem builders.

Attendees were welcomed by an interactive showcase featuring some of the businesses our Top 10 Heroes have founded. It gave guests a taste of the insight, innovation, and impact these heroes are having across the continent.

The event featured an exciting and engaging format, including a range of formats such as Ted-style talks, live podcasts, and panel debates. There were also practical and interactive workshops, followed by numerous networking opportunities.
