We are proud to feature Nadia Gamal El Din, the Founder and CEO of Rahet Bally, as our Hero Spotlight of the Month. As the 2022 ABH Second Runner-Up, Nadia continues to set the bar for purpose-driven innovation in the femtech space. She founded Rahet Bally after giving birth to her son at age 24 and realizing how deeply isolated and unsupported many new mothers feel. What began as a Facebook group in 2014 quickly evolved into one of MENA’s most impactful maternal support platforms.

Launched in 2015, Rahet Bally now serves over 3 million mothers across Egypt and the broader MENA region, addressing their mental, physical, emotional, and financial needs. From expert-led Q&As and fitness programs to a powerful discount card and a supportive online and offline community, Rahet Bally is an integrated ecosystem for mothers at every stage of their journey.

One of Nadia’s standout innovations is The Cloud—a patented, franchise-ready physical space offering wellness services, workshops, rest and work pods, and childcare under one roof. This model reimagines how maternal care can be delivered with dignity, flexibility, and community at its core.

In November 2024, Nadia and her team launched the Rahet Bally SuperApp, the region’s first AI-powered motherhood concierge app, now reaching over 120,000 users, including 14,000 paying subscribers. The app offers personalized savings, expert support, real-time product discovery, and segmented access for partner brands. Their B2B engine, backed by 500+ signed merchant contracts in under 8 months, gives brands precision access to the most influential consumer demographic: mothers.

In 2021, Nadia also co-founded Mumerz, an e-commerce and parenting advisory platform that raised $1.2 million to scale operations. Together, Rahet Bally and Mumerz are building a data-rich, community-led infrastructure to support motherhood across Africa and the Middle East.

Nadia’s work has earned her major recognition: she was named the 2020 Cartier Women’s Initiative MENA Laureate, received the African Women Award, and was listed among L'Oréal’s Top Women in Business. Her third-place finish at Africa’s Business Heroes 2022 stood out among more than 21,000 applicants.
